My Students

iPads for Title I Elementary School to Develop STEAM Education

Technology is Our Future in The Classroom

Our one of kind elementary school is filled with a diverse group of students. My school is a Title I school that is located in NJ where most of our students come from a low-income households. Most of the students receive free lunch. My students are not only diverse in their socio-economic status or cultural background but also in their learning styles. Many of our students are visual and kinesthetic learners who learn with hands-on materials.

Our hard-working, prosperous and eager students take on any challenge presented to them. Our school continues to grow and is incorporating STEAM into the curriculum. iPads will only enhance learning in STEAM which builds creative, scientific, and mathematical thinking. iPads are ideal for STEAM students because it goes anywhere learning takes them. With the iPad students can easily capture and analyze data and create almost anything they can imagine.

My Project

The iPads will be used for elementary level programming and robotics. The iPads will reinforce science concepts, gather and compare data, conduct research, record photos, video and audio, explore multimedia and communicate learning.

The right classroom technology is critical to making hands-on learning accessible to all students.

IPads are an invaluable tool for educational purposes, especially at the elementary level. The wealth of the educational apps that are available for an iPad are exceptional and open the way to multi-sensory learning.

Technology is the key to success in STEAM Education.
