This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Enhance student success! A large number of my students are on free lunch and experience economical challenges everyday. Funds are not always readily available for certain items that will improve and develop academic success. Net Tablets for education are tools which will blossom our minds!

I have 23 wonderful third graders at a Title I school in Texas and I feel as if they deserve the very best educational experience!

Our school is one of 9 elementary campuses in a large school district so you can probably image that our resources are quite limited. Resources, such as the most modern technological advancements are needed in order to ensure that my students are prepared for the future. We can accomplish that goal with a Net Tablet.

My Project

Having a Net Tablet in the classroom will aid in the academic success of all of my students. Our first project will consist of exploring different types of genres and then utilizing a specific set of story elements to compose a written composition with differentiating genre infrastructures. Also, I intend to use the tablet in our weekly reward system, where students with good behavior my purchase time on the tablet to play learning games.

To summarize, having a Net Tablet in the classroom will aid in the academic success of all of my students.

Nobody in our class will be excluded from the benefits of this wonderful technology contribution! And, truthfully, the uses for this tablet is limitless!
