Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students of all different ages love to be read to. Reading these books, I hope to increase their vocabulary and love for reading, while teaching content. I have carefully picked books to help teach the curriculum. Comprehension is a big focus and needs to be taught. I will use some of the books to help with visualization, mental images, asking questions and more. The books will also, be used to teach writing. Other books will be used for inspiration to help children set goals and help with social emotional. Books were carefully selected for a teaching purpose. I plan to share the books with other teachers to use with their class.
