My students need new challenging puzzles to go further with something they're passionate about... The Rubik's Cube!

My Students

Hello! Our students are wild about puzzles, specifically puzzles like the Rubik's Cube. These problem solvers represent the gifted population at our K-5 elementary school. The students at our elementary school are from a variety of socioeconomic statuses. We are a Title I school; many of our students receive free or reduced-price lunches.

Our students LOVE brain teasers.

Please help me offer my students new, enriching experiences through the funding of their wish to have more hands-on puzzles in our classroom.

My Project

Many of my students have learned to solve the 3x3x3 Rubik's Cube, quickly, and are eagerly wanting more. I would love to be able to show them similar puzzles, like the 4x4x4 cube, or the 5x5x5 cube, or even the one that is shaped like a pyramid! Many of them are competing at state tournaments with the cube, and would like to better their time with newly tournament approved "3x3x3 speed cubes."

They will be so excited to see Rubik's Cube books being added to our classroom bookshelf.

I imagine that there would be a wait list for these books! In our classroom, the cubes would be used with our spatially gifted students. Additionally, we keep puzzles on the book shelves, for students to explore and try, when they are early finishers, or need a little break from what they were previously doing. Thank you for your consideration, in helping to put these exciting things in the hands of my eager learners.
