This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The Lakeshore Alphabet tubs would be a wonderful addition for my students to have a hands-on way to practice their sounds.
The teaching tubs will allow my students to learn their sounds and new vocabulary through tactile exploration!
My students love hands-on activities and they would be able to engage with their learning by being able to manipulate the mini objects. The lessons corresponding to the tubs are only limited to your imagination. For example, the mini objects could be used as motivators for sentence frames to help encourage my students to increase their utterance length. The addition of the storage rack would help keep all the tubs together and organized.
