I am eager to transition from kindergarten to first grade at a new school. First grade is a special and important school year full of learning, sharing, and growing.

Secret Stories is a supplemental phonics curriculum that makes learning more complex phonics rules engaging and tangible. Used alongside the University of Florida Literacy Institute (UFLI) foundations toolbox, students' reading and writing will soar. Scholastic News is a multidisciplinary supplemental social studies program that engages students with age-appropriate, relevant topics and themes. Students get to read, engage with, and take home a mini magazine each week across the school year. And finally, a classroom easel allows me to best teach explicit concepts across subjects and engage in shared learning with students during mini-lessons. I believe these products will elevate my classroom and students' learning experiences.
