Scholastic News is an engaging science and social studies resource that students can easily access and engage with. The online platform also offers the magazines in digital format as well as add on resource and materials directly related to the magazine content. I also reinforce current reading skills, such as finding learned phonics patterns, into student work time, and students love this extra challenge. The Secret Stories supplemental phonics curriculum has been a super fun way to reinforce phonics patterns and skills. Students are excited to hear new secret stories as they relate to our current phonics lessons.
