Teaching Tool to Create 21st Century Learners!

Help me give my students the teaching tool Netop Vision Pro to strengthen the 21st Century teaching and learning environment in their Middle School Careers and Computer Literacy class. Teaching to make them workforce ready beyond the classroom.

My Students

Students love technology! They find it easy to use and seem to just get it. Going that step deeper into projects and truly learning the ins and outs of the computer programs is what I strive to help the students learn. Asking why something is the way it is, instead of just knowing how to do it.

The students use the computers for the Business Department, Careers and Computer Literacy class.

They develop key computer skills that they will take with them to high school. They also complete a career research curriculum complete with personality and interest inventory. It is amazing to see how interested and focused they get in the curriculum. They truly are more focused when they are on computers and into what is being discussed.

It is wonderful to see them into the projects and assignments as we progress through the year.

My Project

Computers are an everyday tool in the middle school Career and Computer Literacy class.

Netop Vision Pro allows the teacher to strengthen the learning of the students and align 21st teaching with a 21st Century curriculum and create better accountability for student learning.

The program allows for the teacher to teach to each student at each individual student computer. This can be as a whole group or individual students' computers based on need. It allows the lesson to be brought directly to them and their computers. It allows for greater access to individualized and differentiated instruction, and also allows for better monitoring of student use of the computers.

The career exploration curriculum and the computer literacy curriculum is designed to create a marketable workforce-ready skill. Enhancing the learning of the curriculum through the use of a computer program will allow for student success beyond the classroom.
