Teaching Through Technology

Help me give my students the opportunity to learn through technology, non-fiction books, and classroom supplies.

My Students

My students are fun, energetic, creative, and eager to learn! They come from different ethnic backgrounds and vary in almost every way, yet they are all eager to learn and to participate in their education. These students are willing to take risks and learn from their mistakes so that they can progress in their educational goals.

While all of my students are eager to learn, they learn in different ways.

Whenever I create a lesson, I try to encompass an auditory, visual, and kinesthetic component to the lesson so that I can reach as many learning styles as possible. Having additional resources helps me reach more students and create productive learning environments.

My Project

I have requested an iPad mini and Apple pen to help my students learn through technology. This will help me be able to move more freely throughout the classroom so I can teach and assist students at the same time. I will also be able to use the iPad as a digital whiteboard which will allow me to virtually work with students one-on-one, if needed.

I have also requested several non-fiction books and classroom supplies.

The non-fiction books will allow my students to explore informational text. A pencil-sharpener designed for colored pencils will keep our regular pencil sharpener running smoothly, and the books boxes will help my students keep their supplies and belongings separate.
