This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My classroom is full of students with a love of helping others. They have so many great ideas to support their community. I have facilitated many discussions about our community and how we are important to the growth and development of our community. The organizing bins in this project will help us to sort and classify our recycling, food donations, and more. They are excited to use the book boxes to get the books ready for our community readers. This is only the beginning of our exploration into community service!
