Last year, we used these materials to strengthen reading comprehension and writing skills. The new computer will be helping me end the year and start the next year strong. It makes it easier and fun for them when we have technology that works. The chromebooks my students use are often broken where you cannot hear the audio. This is really important when the district wants us to have them take a test on their own. Most of the students will not let me know when a computer is having an issue. This will help me with that. The students will be able to hear and record what is needed of them to complete their tasks. I am excited because now my students testing scores will be more accurate. Especially with the new Dibels program we will be testing on next year. \r\nThe students were really excited to see a new computer and really wanted to use it right away. I have one students who has problems testing every time. I was able to sit with her and listen and check her answers. I was really shocked to hear her quiet meek voice on the computer. Not only that, there was no background noise. It was just her that recorded. This makes me excited to use this at the beginning of next year when there is testing but the students do not understand our quiet UA time. They are just learning what it is like to be in a classroom. \r\nThank you again for all your help and time. The hooks have made a huge difference in keeping the classroom tidy and allowing students to hang up their backpacks, which has created more space for learning and movement during lessons.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new materials, they were excited and eager to use them.
