Help me give my students access to Ahed Tamimi's "They Called Me a Lioness". The goal is to add this to our class text set, teaching the effects of imperialism and colonialism on indigenous peoples.

My Project
Acquiring a class set of "They Called Me A Lioness" would greatly assist me and my colleagues in instructing students on rhetorical analysis and argumentative writing.
We intend to delve into the experiences of Ahed Tamimi, exploring life under occupation and the impact of imperialism on indigenous communities.
This seamlessly connects with our recent unit, where we delved into Marjane Satrapi's "Persepolis." Students will be tasked with identifying common themes between the two texts, such as adolescence, the tension between past and present, rebellion, liberation, and the individual versus the political.
