My Project
I serve some students who are at risk for mental health concerns. We are working to address these concerns through social-emotional play and behavior therapy.
My goal is to teach my students how to learn, behave, and handle their emotions so they can have a productive day.
Brain breaks will be given as needed and students can use the calm down activities and sensory toys to reset. Students will be taught about their emotions through social stories. The timers will be used to help students learn how to manage their emotions and self regulate.
