My Students

Students are consistently furthering their knowledge and education in the classroom through various opportunities with literature on their level. We want to provide our students with quality education through well planned lessons, tailored to fit their needs.

The texts will allow teachers to collaborate and further develop their planning and questioning for students during small group instruction.

Teachers will utilize the texts to create challenging depths of knowledge questions for students and further their curiosity for information. Students will be challenged in daily activities, allowing them to move reading levels and celebrate individual successes. Teachers will gain insight on student Literacy needs and Encourage students to be caretakers of their learning. Students can then translate these skills to all content areas, furthering their growth and school performance.

My Project

Teachers will utilize the text to gain information about how they can further their Guided Reading grouping and expand on their small group planning. The text will allow for teachers to read and evaluate examples and scenarios to further their planning, as well as, provide examples of lessons and activities teachers can modify for their students.

Teachers can read the same text and continue their professional development through grade band collaboration and planning.

Teachers utilize many different resources to continue their personal development throughout the school year. Professional Development texts that can provide quality instruction examples are valuable resources for teachers and administrators to utilize and these texts are a prime example. The instructional resources they will provide to our Teachers will benefit all in our school.
