My Students

I have the pleasure of working with 18 wonderful third graders each and everyday.

As children of the 21st century, they need to be prepared to use a variety of tools to engage their world.

We serve grades Pre-K through 5th, including the Exceptional Children's program for the district. We provide a safe yet rigorous learning environment for our students that will help them to become lifelong learners. We make sure they go home with full hearts, minds and bellies each day.

My Project

Technology transforms the learning experience. Students have access to an incredible amount of new opportunities. Technology empowers students to be more creative and be more connected. I am asking for Chromebooks for the classroom. New technology has super-charged how we learn today.

Integrating technology into the classroom is an effective way to connect with students of all learning styles.

The creative student can use art and music. Those who love words can write. Visual learners can use a combination of color, images and personal drawings.

To thrive in the 21st century workplace, students need to have more than a working knowledge of certain technological tools. Interactive lesson plans can help turn “boring” conceptual subjects like math and science into fun, engaging, and educational activities for students.
