Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are curious, hardworking, and enthusiastic learners. When they take charge of their own learning by investigating their own topics and develop presentations that wow their classmates, the look on their faces is priceless.

My students come from working-class neighborhood that values hard work and perseverance.

Our parents want a better life for their kids and they know a solid education is the key to their future success. My job allows me to unlock those doors and affords me the privilege of getting visits from former students who are making important contributions to our world.

My Project

These Lenovo Chromebooks will make a significant difference in my students' learning by giving them the ability to use technology on a daily basis. They will be able to do research where I can assist them and they can work cooperatively with their classmates. There are times they need to research work and by having technology at their fingertips, they could achieve it.

STEM is the future and these students need to be college and career ready.

There is so much to learn using technology. I am hoping that with your kind and generous donations I can fulfill my students' learning how to be knowledgeable about using technology. These children are in fourth grade, but now the middle school requires the use of Google docs as well. Every job, education, and just basic needs require the use of technology.
