This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I plan to use the ink for SEL projects with students and handouts that require color. Color engages students, as well as being a support strategy for some students that have an IEP. The counseling room will be filled with printed resources for students to use on a daily basis, such as a Feeling Word Wall themed based and calm down strategies bulletin board, etc. My students are special because they are eager to learn and use all resources at their disposal. That's why having a rich print environment with color is so important. Throughout the year the students create special bulletin boards to turn key vital SEL skills to the school community that they learn in counseling sessions, so this ink will help out with that part of their learning, as well.
