My Students

My students are eager and fun loving learners- especially in our Math classes! They are always very excited to use technology to build their math problem solving skills or to try a new way of learning, even if that new way of learning is dancing to a song about place value or learning how to code, or build models.

My school has a large number of students who live in poverty and receive free and reduced price lunch.

My school is a place where students often feel safer than anywhere else. They receive two meals a day, heat, and electricity. Most importantly, my students are surrounded by caring teachers that believe in their abilities. It is very important to me that my students have the same opportunities as their peers.

My Project

The Wacom Tablet will help me to continue to teach engaging math lessons virtually. Many students are visually learners and they need to see how to work the problem out. With the help of the Wacom Tablet I will be able to show students how to work on math problems virtually.

Students will be able to continue to learn math the way that they are familiar with while sitting in the comfort of their homes. Wacom Tablet will provide students with what they need to be successful during this pandemic.
