Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Teaching is not an easy job. You've probably heard teachers are like mentors, counselors, cheerleaders, detectives, referees, nurses, 2nd parents, comedians, event planners, and interior decorators all rolled into one job. We are always looking for effective and resourceful ways to make teaching engaging, fun, and, yes, sometimes easier.

All I want to do is work to make each year the best I can for my students and help them grow academically and as human beings.

Teachers Pay Teachers is an amazing platform to find resources for teachers to use to help this goal become a reality, while also supporting the teachers who make these resources. I will utilize this resource to explore teaching tools and find creative ways to engage students throughout the upcoming year, using projects, centers, book studies, and more! P.S. - The laminating sheets will be used for durability and longevity of most materials purchased.
