Help me give my students the knowledge and understanding of acceptance of all people in the world. Help me to start a dialogue of change and acceptance with a classroom library.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Danner's classroom raised $397
This project is fully funded
Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach a diverse classroom of second grade students, many whom are struggling learners and readers. My classroom includes special education students, English language learners, and Title I students. Not to mention, my students are inner-city children who live in poverty.
My students deserve to have the best teaching possible, and it is my desire to provide a quality education to my students.
I am blessed to teach these students and work hard to meet all their individual needs. Each and every child is worth my time and effort and deserves a world-class, quality education with the tools necessary for educational success. My desire is to teach equity and success for all children of all cultures in my classroom!
My Project
Let the change of social acceptance and equality begin with my second grade students and spread the message like a beacon of hope throughout our class, our school, our community, our city, our state, and the world.
My students need and deserve quality books to read and learn the message of acceptance and equality for all.
The requested books will be used to teach lessons, learn new messages, and independent reading for all students. Real change can happen with intentional and well-taught lessons, and I know that my students will learn the message of hope and love that the books will teach.
