This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

This project and request for materials is inspired by the many creative teachers developing activities and learning experiences that enhance basic curriculum provided by school districts. There are many areas such as reading, math, and social emotional learning activities that teachers have been successful in developing in their own classroom and are now sharing with others teachers.

My hope is to make each of my students time in the classroom fun, engaging and enriching by providing supplemental material that will build strong foundational skills in reading and math.

The pencils and scissors will help to replenish my students learning stations, while the gift cards will give me access to a number of engaging learning activities that I can use with this year's students and beyond.
