Teaching Literacy Is My Passion, Please Help My Students Shine!

My Students

I am a reading teacher and interventionist in a wonderful school in Wisconsin. My students are exceptional, and I love going to school every day to see the sparkle in my students' eyes. I also get to connect with students of various ages during and after school. I truly have the most special job in the world and treasure every day with my students! My students love to read, pretend and imagine. They are curious and love to learn! We all participate in learning every day. They love so many fun activities throughout the year, and we hope to add even more. My students are amazing!

My Project

Hi there, I am a teacher who is absolutely passionate about helping all students learn to read! There is nothing better than working with children who want to read, but just haven't had the best experience or opportunity, or who may have struggled with learning the material and helping them to see how much fun it is and how capable they really can be!

I truly believe that EVERY child can learn to read, and it is absolutely priceless to be working in a position where I get to help students to make that happen.

I am asking for two different types of super fun activities that will support my students' learning. I am asking for Word Family Flip Books and Reading Readiness Splash games. My students already have some of the Splash games that were created for older students. They enjoy them so much, and make such great progress, that I would like to get the version made for my younger students. The set that I am requesting is specifically for working on rhyming, beginning, middle and ending sounds, and other phonemic awareness goals. There are five different games included in the set. These games are so durable, and they are so effective at helping my students to learn these very important skills. I am also asking for Word Family Flip cards, because being able to read word families and being able to rhyme are also very important beginning reading skills.

This Splash game set and the Word Family Flip cards can be used for many different activities. They will be used often and for many years to come. Thank you so much for your support!
