My Students

My classroom is special for a number of reasons! My students are energetic and excited to learn. They often have opportunities to complete hands on lessons. For example we did a main idea celebration with relay races and competitions so the kiddos could practice sorting details in an engaging way! So far this year, we’ve also done celebrations after mastering making inferences, and text features (by becoming detectives and surgical residents!) I love watching them learn and grow each day!

My Project

This conference is one if the most highly regarded teacher conferences in the country! It provides teachers with multiple engaging experiences that they can apply to the classroom! I will grow professionally by staying up-to-date on current practices in education! I love my job, and want to continue to grow as a professional. With your help, I could attend this conference and carry over what I learn to help expand my own horizons, as well as my students. My district can’t afford to send me, and I already work two jobs! This professional development is just what I need to stay on top of my game!
