My Project
The learners in our classroom are young adults who have been diagnosed with autism, intellectual disabilities, and Down syndrome. They are striving to become self-sufficient teenagers. They are enthusiastic about engaging with the community and shopping for essential items like clothing, hygiene products, and food on their own.
Our students are engaged in developing essential life skills to prepare themselves for their future, with an emphasis on money skills, personal hygiene, and vocational training.
Accessing materials from Teachers Pay Teachers will enable us to enhance our current curriculum and acquire essential life skills. Our students benefit from consistent practice and reinforcement; these resources will provide opportunities for collaborative learning in the classroom and facilitate their application in community settings and home environments.
