My Project
The students in our class are young adults diagnosed with Autism, Intellecutal Disabilities and Down Syndrome. They are working towards becoming independent teenagers. They are eager to go into the community and go shopping for items they need such as clothes, hygiene necessities and food independently.
Our students are working to learn life skills to prepare for their future and we are focusing on money skills, hygiene and vocational skills.
These materials will help our students practice these skills to be as independent as possible when they are adults.
By having access to Teacher's Pay Teachers materials, we will be able to supplement our existing curriculum and learn valuable life skills. Our students thrive on repetition and practice, these materials will allow the students to learn together in the classroom and then apply them in the community and their home life.
