Encouraging positive behavior is so important to us at our school! Due to the special needs of our students, a PBIS point-based behavioral system where students can earn "dragon dollars" for good behavior and schoolwork is ideal for them to prepare for the real world. Students can then trade these dragon dollars in at our student-run PBIS holiday school store for desirable items.
Our PBIS holiday school store also enables students to overcome economic barriers to work for and procure high-ticket items for family members that they otherwise could not afford and would not otherwise have access to.
These restaurant gift cards will not only be a great gift students can give, but will allow their family a meal as many of our families are in need or homeless.
This upcoming Holiday season, we would like to especially stock our store with items that students have requested as gifts that they would like to "purchase" for family members. We are so thrilled with this idea that students would use the dragon dollars they earn to bless others this season! We are requesting items for fathers, mothers, siblings and other family members. An entire variety such as candy, stockings, mugs, balls, and blankets! Our students are so motivated to earn their positive behavior dragon dollars this season and share with those they love! Please help us support the gift of giving during this holiday season!
