Teaching Diversity with Legos

Help me give my students a Lego Community People Set and Coding Express so that my students can learn about diversity and inclusion.

My Students

My students are active learners. They are digital learners who crave different tools to help with their educational process. They learn best by using hands-on materials to learn and discover.

We believe that every student who walks through our doors should be given every opportunity to learn and grow.

Giving my students a strong foundation is such an important way to get their educational careers started on the right path. I hope to make a difference for each of my students by finding new ways to get them excited about learning.

My Project

This project is to help my students learn about multiculturalism and diversity with hands on tools like Legos. This community set of Legos has not only different Lego people with different ethnic backgrounds but also different ability levels since there is a wheelchair for one of the Lego community members. The train set will help my students with basic coding skills and will also help my students to think and problem solve if their train/community is handicap accessible.
