My students are only three and four years old. They are curious, playful, loving and adorable. For most of them, it is their first time in a classroom, let alone a huge school of over 1,000 other students.
They always have a ton of questions and actually listen to the answers.
They are eager to learn new things. They love hands-on projects where they are able to show off their creativity. It's great to watch them grow throughout the year.
My Project
Having multicultural toys and books in the classroom will teach my students about differences and acceptance.
The majority of my students come from very different backgrounds.
They come from different countries and all speak different languages. It is important for the children to understand that all of us have differences and how each one is just as important as the other.
Integrating multicultural toys and books into my classroom lessons will be a big help in the teaching. It will help the children to see that people come from the same places and speak the same languages as they do.
