This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love that my students are adventurous and learning to explore. Many of the freshmen coming into class are rather timid and need to express themselves in different ways. My students are special because they represent a wide array of ability levels. I have math students that are always trying to do something "different" in math. My AVID students are exploring themselves, their future, and their studies. The computer science students are very logical and having a bit of creativity splattered in the middle of logic helps to give them more well-roundedness. These scrapbook supplies will allow them to explore math, computer science, and themselves better. They will be able to express themselves and their learning through creativity rather than just pen and paper. This creativity lends itself to connecting the students more to the class. In doing so they put in more effort.
