Our students are energetic, active learners. They attend a Title I school and their parents often struggle to buy supplies, uniforms, and provide lunch. The parents do try their best to send their children to school every day so they can get a proper education, meals, and exercise and play in a safe environment. The students try hard at everything they do, from in the classroom to on the playground, because they like school and feel safe at school. The teachers try equally as hard because we know they are our future and need dedicated educators who care about their success and well-being.
My Project
My students love to color, write, use dry erase markers, build, play with clay, and paint. However, we don't have enough tables to work at. Students are constantly having to share space or work on the floor instead of having their own table space.
With the new table the students will be able to practice writing their names and letters and when they need to erase they won't be bumping their neighbor.
When using dry erase markers, the students will have enough space to work that they won't accidentally draw on their name. When we paint, we won't worry about spilling the paint because we are too cramp.
Everyone needs a little personal space. Please help us gain some.
