Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My classroom consists of fourteen self-contained students that have a wide range of disabilities including Autism, Speech/Language impaired, Learning Disabled, and Developmentally Delayed. Right know we have begun doing elearning and these students can use a variety of materials in there houses so that they can be successful with the online community. Having to take care of a child with special needs can be hard on families and I would just like to make it easier to allowing them to have access to a variety of fine motor activities to help with the elearning.

My Project

Currently my students are learning through a new way, distance learning. These students need additional materials in their houses to help make this new way of learning a little easier for their parents. These supplies will help the students complete a variety of learning activities. The scissors and paper will be used for the students to make art projects along with the dot markers and crayons to decorate them. The white boards and markers are a way for the student to complete their work and then show me through virtual learning.

During this difficult time I am hoping to make it a little easier for them.
