My Project

This project would provide my classes with access to basic hygiene and comfort supplies to make sure they feel prepared to learn no matter what their day throws at them. There are so many scenarios in which a student's basic needs might prevent them from being 100% present in class, and my goal is to be able to provide my students with as many tools to deal with these situations as possible!

My fifth grade students have benefitted tremendously from having these supplies in our classroom this past year, so I would love to restock these items for my incoming students.

These supplies, such as deodorant, hair ties, reusable water bottles, and chapstick, will give my students a bit of comfort as they come back to school. They will know that they have access to supplies that they need in case of an emergency, which will hopefully give them the confidence to be fully present in class!
