This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are outgoing, passionate, and so excited to learn each year!

My students truly love seeing growth every day and become more inspired to try harder and be better with every new skill learned.

They are surprised when they are successful and I work really hard to provide opportunities for them to grow in all areas at all times.

Our school is a Title I school, and we currently have 100% of our students receiving free or reduced-price lunch. It is difficult for most of our students to provide money for materials for class, and even more difficult for us to ask them to bring money for anything extra.

My Project

Engaging the minds of students is not an easy task. Sometimes I need to go to the experts... another teacher!

This project will provide the funds to purchase additional resources that are engaging and enriching.

Sometimes it is difficult to differentiate, find content, or organize materials well, but thankfully there are other teachers who sell their content and provide support when I am in a bind.

These gift cards will support student learning directly by funding Teachers Pay Teachers resources that need to be purchased throughout the year. My content partner and I will definitely appreciate not having to come out of our own pockets to purchase the materials as well.
