My Students
My students have been totally virtual learners since the start of school in September. They come from low-income families in a district with limited financial funds. The challenges these students and families are facing do not stop them from actively joining and tackling the challenges of virtual learning. We have quickly created a wonderful bond even though we are virtual.
My students come to class each day excited to see what we will be learning!
They get so excited to hear new stories and to see what new learning activities I have created for them. It’s amazing to see how much they have already grown given the restrictions of our learning environment.
My Project
I was so thrilled to see that gift cards from Teachers Pay Teachers are now available on Donors Chose.
Having a TPT gift card will give me access to thousands of resources created by teachers that I will be able to use in my virtual classroom.
This gift card will allow me to purchase remote learning tools created by teachers for teachers. I am looking forward to purchasing Boom Cards for my students. Boom Cards are digital, self-checking, interactive activities. Students are shown one question at a time and get instant feedback on their answers! They make learning fun!
