My Students

How I miss my 6th grade students!! Remote learning is a challenge, and every day I am trying to make new online lessons for my students. This is a huge learning curve for me. I realize how much I explain to students how to do the work when we are together, it isn't the same online. All those extra explanations are missing.

Students need contact with teachers and other students.

Thank goodness for the video conferencing to do a live visit or read to my students or show them a lab. I can even make individual help videos. I never thought I would have my own YouTube channel. This is truly an amazing time.

My Project

As a teacher, I need online resources, and Teachers Pay Teachers has a lot of ready-made resources. I have seen lots of resources available for middle school that will cover our different content areas like photosynthesis, Earth topics such as plate tectonics and landforms, the water cycle and water availability, ecosystems, and diversity.

As a learner, I need to know how to make more resources for my students but there is no time as we all scrambled to develop online classrooms during the Coronavirus-19 event.

A Teachers Pay Teachers gift certificate will give me access to improve my online lessons. I will learn by using their ready-made resources. I trust the usefulness because they are made by other teachers.
