My Students
What a year this has been. I moved into 1st grade to teach this year, and my students have been hybrid/blended, remote, and finally full-time students. It’s been a whirlwind of different styles of learning which require different supplies for each style. My students were partially virtual the last three months of the school year 2020. We are in school full time now and need a variety of supplies, including digital resources.
Digital media enables us to build more stages for our kids to express themselves.
Our Title I school community is a diverse mix of Guyanese, African American, Caribbean, Asian and Hispanic families. We are a PreK-5th grade school in Queens, NY. We believe that all students can meet high standards of excellence, as well as develop social and creative skills through a cooperative effort of the teachers, administration, families, and community.
My Project
I am requesting a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card to help purchase grade level resources and activities for my first grade students. The resources available on Teachers Pay Teachers are subject-based, grade-level appropriate, current, relevant, and engaging for students.
Teachers Pay Teachers materials are great resources for teachers to build student knowledge along with reteaching needed standards.
Teachers Pay Teachers is an incredibly amazing online store with high-quality materials created by teachers for other teachers. A gift card from Teachers Pay Teachers will really help with my planning and it will be highly beneficial for my students as it will give me access to thousands of resources that I could use with my students. The materials on Teachers Pay Teachers are very creative and highly appealing really help to maximize my students' engagement. The best part about TPT is that the resources align with our teaching standards and our curriculum as well.
