This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach first grade to a wonderful group of students each year. The community in which I teach is a neighborhood school where three fourths of the population is living below the poverty line. Approximately one third of our learners are English language learners.

My Project

All professionals know how to work together and use each other’s strengths. Teachers pay Teachers is a wonderful website where teachers’ strengths are displayed. Other teachers can purchase and use teacher created resources in their own classroom.

This teachers pay teachers gift card will be used to aid and supplement our literacy curriculum.

Teachers love to support each other and this website has thousands of credible teacher created resources. Please help us work smarter and not harder in order to help our students reach the level they’re capable to reach.
