My Students

Kindergarteners traditionally start the year bursting with excitement and eager to learn. They are curious and even at this tender age, they are innovative thinkers. We usually have a very active classroom full of eager readers and enthusiastic minds. Last year with remote and hybrid learning, school has not been the same. Many of the incoming kindergarteners have not attended school at all.

I expect to have a diverse mix of students in my class, with many countries, languages, and ethnicities represented.

Part of what makes our school so special is the diversity represented in our classrooms. Our students come from a variety of socio-economic backgrounds, family situations, and prior experiences. I relish being able to provide many stimulating experiences for my students.

My Project

Teachers Pay Teachers is an online store that has tons of resources for my students that will span multiple subject areas. These resources are created by teachers and are visually appealing for students.

So many challenges have presented themselves as a result of remote and hybrid learning.

Many of my new students will never have been in a school setting! These ELA, Math, Phonics and Mindfulness resources will be used to stimulate, motivate and encourage differentiation within my class. Fun and engaging supplemental materials will help me give them the engagement they need for both online and in-school practice.
