My Project
This laptop will make a difference in student learning so I can connect with an Apple TV that will project in front of the students so they can learn from modeled examples. It will help them see what they need to do on their technology and they can follow online or in person if they are on home health. Covid increased the students' ability to work online and it's important that as a teacher I am innovating more ways to engage learning and help the students progress at their own speed in special education as I diversify instruction to meet their needs.
My goal is to be able to create lessons on the latest applications and seamlessly project through this laptop to Apple TV on my projector to engage students in a variety of ways on their devices.
My students have special needs. I teach in special education. I need to be able to teach students how to access tools for their disabilities on devices they are familiar with that they will use at home, so they can keep up with their peers and access general education through these tools on computers. They are so hard working and often need that extra umph to help them see that technology can be a friend in their educational journey.
