This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Do you remember how hard it was for you as a child to copy from the chalkboard?

My students' population is very diverse in skills and ability.

The students all share one thing in common which is their desire to learn. Technology has advanced so much in the past 10 years, it's amazing. As a teacher I would like to bring that technology into the classroom.

My Project

I currently have a projector that is missing a important piece... an ELMO! By having an Elmo, it will create an excellent visual aid for the children to see. This visual presenter will enhance each child's experience, making each child feel like they are receiving one on one attention. Through using this visual aid it will allow me to support students at different level of learning. We know from research that not all children learn the same but the majority of students learn by what they actually see! I have all the necessary tools to project the images on the big screen for all to SEE.

By integrating technology into the classroom, it will give the children a bright view through a clear lens.

The children will have an opportunity to share what they've learned with other students.
