I need teacher resource books like "ESL Games for the Classroom and "The Ultimate ESL Teaching Manuel" accompanied by notebooks, pens, and post-it notes to improve my teaching practice.
During the school year, I don't have a lot of time to read professional development books that would help me improve my practice. The relaxed summer schedule is the perfect time to plan out a teacher book club to strengthen my skills as an educator. This summer I want my focus to be on my multilingual learners. I am working with multilingual learners in various content areas and need quick and easy strategies that would allow me to help my students build a stronger understanding of the English Language while also building their content knowledge in those subject areas. I am looking forward to using the "39 No-Prep/Low-Prep ESL Speaking Activities: For Teenagers and Adults" book because speaking is such an integral part of building language. I am hoping that this book will give me quick and easy activities that will get everyone talking!
