My Project

My inclusion classroom includes special education students and general education students. Having materials such as bean bag chairs and mindful decks for meditation help students with being in the right state of mind and help address their needs in different ways is crucial to school success. Students need spaces to do this in and creating an atmosphere that allows calm and loving energy is so important. Having a dedicated area to create a "calming corner" provides students with a safe space for them to reset and come back ready to learn. As adults, we also need spaces to heal and to create good, positive energy within us. Helping students learn to do this at a young age will set them to a healthy path.
