Help me give my students two laminators, laminating pouches, a wall-mounted hutch, and copy paper for learning centers and a place to display their books.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I work in a very high needs school in the Bronx. We have limited access to learning tools and books. I am looking for ways to make learning more accessible to my students. My students are in an Integrated Co-Teaching classroom. They are an exciting group of mixed interests, abilities, and goals. Some of my students are reading above their grade level and others are struggling to sound out words and make meaning of what they are reading. My goal, as a teacher, is to meet students where they are and motivate them to go above and beyond.
These projects will allow me to bring exciting and educational projects to the families in our school community to foster the love of learning and expose them to new ideas.
With your help, I can make my students more well-rounded.
My Project
With the laminators and laminating pouches, I will be able to laminate and make durable centers for my students. This will help to enhance their learning by giving them daily hands-on practice in Math, Reading, and Writing. The learning display hutch will allow me to showcase books that the students created.
Help me put resources in the hands of students no matter where they are academically this school year!
We will use these materials to aid in the process of becoming life-long learners. I truly need your support to make this a reality. Thank you!
