This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Reading is a skill that everyone child have and enjoy. There is something powerful when a teacher reads a loud a chapter book and students have their own copy to follow along with. Lessons like vocabulary, comprehension, figurative language, multiple meaning words, etc. are just a few skills that students can learn from participating in a chapter book read aloud.

The books in this project will give my students the opportunity to use their imaginations and creavitity to explore a variety of places, people, and life lessons from the pages of these books.

Constantly checking for understanding gives students the opportunity to engage in the book as the teacher reads aloud.

Thank you for your support. These books will be enjoyed by many students for years to come.
