Teacher on the Move

Help me give my students a fresh start. I am moving schools next year, from a Title1 school, to a non - Title school. Much of my supplies have to stay behind.

My Project

After 8 years in the same classroom, I am moving schools. I spent a lot of my money and had many Donors Choose projects funded in order to create a happy, healthy learning environment where every student felt included. Unfortunately, I have to leave behind a lot of my supplies.

I am starting a new adventure with a new group of kiddos.

I want to be able to give the next batch of kids the same loving environment I had created. THEY DESERVE IT. These new additions to my classroom will help me decorate my classroom to make a fun, sensory reach classroom. While I am able to bring my corner corner to help reduce stress, I need to have my LED lights replaced. LED lights are a great way to reduce the over stimulation that comes with fluorescent lights. Students love learning in an environment that is up beat, positive, and organized. My room classroom does not have as much storage and does not have bookshelves for my classroom library I provided.

In addition to creating a mentally pleasing classroom, I need to provide a medically safe classroom. As a member of the DART team (diabetes adherence resource team) I need to have a classroom fridge in order to store quick sugars; such as fruit juices, and low sugar snacks; such as string cheese: in order to help those that may need more diabetic support.
