My Students

Our students are excited to learn and be engaged in the classroom, but we lack the funding to provide the classroom furniture needed for interactive learning!

I teach 3rd grade in a small, rural, low income district in Kansas.

We have over 70% free and reduced lunch students who attend our school. I want to provide my students with furniture that allows for small group instruction.

My Project

Small group instruction has been shown to be more effective than working at desks independently. Our school budget does not have money for new furniture, so we are currently using desks for small group instruction.

With your donation, we can provide a productive, small group instructional setting for students to work collaboratively with their peers.

Students will be more excited about school when their work environment is setup for learning that provides engagement with peers and teachers.
