Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students love to use all of the technology that is in my classroom. Unfortunately this is easier said than done.
I teach 21 active first grade students in San Jose, CA.
My students are excited about everything! They frequently cheer when I tell them to get something out of their desks! My students love to use our iPads and computers. The big problem comes when they go to grab the headphones. Those headphone cords are frequently all tied together into a huge knot!
My Project
My students will use these 8 headphones with tangle-free cords to use out iPads and computers. Time is frequently wasted by my students TRYING to untangle cords. But, have you ever seen a first grader try to untangle a cord? The knot turns into a much, much, much bigger knot. Then I have to stop teaching my small group to untangle headphones.
These headphones will allow my students to hear the lessons and activities that they are doing on our iPads and computers.
They won't get distracted by the devices around them. They will also save lots of time because the headphone cords won't get tangled up with these wonderful tangle-free cords.
