My Students

I teach a great group of kids in a full day Kindergarten program for public school. The students are from a rural community and range from low-income to middle-class. Their families are as diverse as are their needs.

My kids are smart and capable, but some need the extra push to grow their confidence in learning.

They come to Kindergarten at all different stages of development and with different educational backgrounds. I am constantly looking for ways to meet the needs of every child whether reading or only just recognizing letters. I want to engage them and accelerate their learning, but do so at their individual levels.

My Project

I am asking for the Osmo System for use with iPads. I also am requesting organizing pouches to store the pieces and two Osmo coding games.

I believe that when used correctly technology can engage and inspire my kids to learn and build their confidence.

It can differentiate for each learner and help guide my students to work independently in a meaningful way. In today's classroom, I have more students, at many more ability levels and every learning opportunity counts. I want to make sure that the use of technology in my classroom is academic and purposeful. I believe with the Osmo system I can do that.
