This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

One thing I love about my students is their sincere desire to learn! This school year I’ve observed my students exploring with deep interest the world around them and asking the all important questions of why and how. The materials I am requesting for donation will help them to continue their pursuit and their quest to answering and discovering the why’s and how’s of life, like the value of money and how do things grow. Learning the necessities of life like counting money and telling time and being able to apply this knowledge with real life application will help them strive with a deeper understanding of their importance.
