My Students

My class has 22 students ranging from 5-7 years old. My focus in my classroom is providing a hands on learning environment that is engaging to all individuals. This is important to my students because they are a lively, active group.

Inspiring my Kinder's to love learning is my passion.

Through my teaching I try to provide learning that is relatable to their everyday life. This is helpful to my students because it teaches them why it is important to learn.

My Project

This professional development (by Teach It Tried and True) will help me update my knowledge of Early Literacy, Higher-order Thinking, Play Based learning, Motivation and Engagement, Classroom and Environment, and Fun and Inspiration. It will teach me more exciting and meaningful ways for my students to learn. It will teach me new strategies and unique ways to incorporate fresh approaches of learning for my students. All of these qualities would allow me to be a more effective teacher!

Teach It will benefit my classroom by showing me how to more effectively engage my students.

I have been teaching for 13 years and need some refreshment! I want to always learn new ways to help my students. I feel that this course is the best way for me to do this. By attending this PD I will be ready to empower the rest of this year and ready to provide the maximum learning to my students!

I also plan on redelivering and sharing my experience with Pre-K and 1st grade teachers at my school. I want to show them new approaches to incorporate in their classrooms as well.
